The Inspiration Behind My First Children’s Book

I want to say it started with a very candid question from my then 5-year-old son at my mother’s house, “Mommy, are you going to die and I’m never going to see you again??”. Uhhhhh, wow, and my mom looking at me like, “Good luck with that one!”. Before I could even think twice, (as my mother stood witness) the story just came out of me…Watching my son’s relief and comfort afterwards (and the shock of my mom), I thought others may find comfort in it as well. I posted it to my TikTok page, and the response was overwhelming, not just from parents being able to explain in a way that feels real, but I also saw how much it helped ADULTS think of their biggest fear in a different way. Many asked for books on my content and this one felt like the right start.
